Privacy

Draft. This page describes how the website is built and is not a reviewed privacy notice. The data-controller details and the statutory wording are owed, and a legal review has not yet been commissioned.

There are no cookies

This website sets no cookies of any kind. There is no sign-in, no session, no shopping basket and no preference to remember, so there is nothing a cookie would be for.

That is why there is no cookie banner. A banner asking permission to set cookies that are never set would be theatre, and dismissing it would be the first thing this site asked of you.

There is no server here

These pages are static files served from a content delivery network. There is no application running behind them, no database they can reach, and no way for anything you do on this site to reach Harbor Light’s internal systems — those sit behind a separate authenticated boundary that this site has no route to.

Nothing you type stays here, because there is nothing to type into: there is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up and no search box. The only way to get in touch is the email address below, which opens your own mail program.

Third parties

No fonts, scripts, tag managers, chat widgets or advertising come from anywhere but this site’s own domain.

The one exception is a speaker video, and it is loaded only if you ask for it: the player is not present on the page until you press play, so YouTube is told nothing about your visit unless you choose to watch. When you do, the embed uses youtube-nocookie.com.

Your rights

Because this site collects nothing that identifies you, there is nothing here to access, correct or erase. If you have written to Harbor Light by email, that correspondence is held separately and is covered by the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance; write to the address below to ask about it.
